Our saddle model 'Notting Hill' is also equipped with a 3-Layer VPS® System.
The 3-Layer VPS® System ensures even more protection from pressure under the stirrup attachment. Therefore this saddle is not only suitable for jumping but also for riders who are heavier in the saddle, long treks and other strains. Nevertheless, the saddle will still be flexible ensuring the horse's comfort and not restring his movements. Muscles will build up rather than waste away!
This saddle is made from fine, softy leather - in combination with easy care DryTex™ material as base.
Thick fleece underside, 6 D-Rings. Padded knee pads: underlying knee blocks can be freely positioned (velcroed) depending on riders preference.
The pommel insert (size medium) can be exchanged as with all Barefoot® Saddles (see size guide).

Special protection with 3-layer VPS system
VPS stands for vertebrae protecting system. It consists of a combination of different materials that distribute the rider's weight optimally and as widely as possible over the entire saddle surface. Even at a standing trot, the rider's weight is distributed over the entire saddle surface - there is therefore no restriction on the rider's weight. This saddle is specially equipped with a 3-layer VPS system and thus guarantees even more protection for the horse's back. Exchange pommel Size Middle
We normally deliver this saddle with an exchangeable pommel insert in size MEDIUM. Each Barefoot saddle is equipped with an exchangeable pommel at the front, which allows it to be adapted to the shoulder width of your horse. With the help of our measuring template you can easily determine the correct size of pommel insert for your horse (Link: Measuring template + instructions).
Velcro Stirrup Attachment open and free positioning
The open stirrup suspension with Velcro fastening is attached between the seat and the saddle substructure and can therefore be easily adjusted. This means that the saddle can easily be adapted to riders with different leg lengths simply by moving the stirrup suspension either backwards or forwards.
Narrow Stirrup-Attachment
Narrow stirrup attachment approx. 2.5 cm width, suitable for all English stirrup leathers and narrow fenders.
Flexible V-Girthing - even works for critical horse girth areas
The movable V-strap is often used when a horse has girthing problems. It gives the elbow plenty of room to move and, because the two strands can move independently of one another, the pressure from the girth is distributed more evenly.

This saddle has knee rolls with our integrated AirPumpSystem: Circulating air in the knee roll makes the knee roll pad more flexible, so the knee roll adapts individually to the rider's leg.

The DryTex™ saddle
This saddle is designed from lightweight DryTex™ (water-repellent textile leather). The DreyTex material is very easy to clean with a damp cloth or sponge - virtually washable. The girth straps are made of leather. We recommend always using matching DryTex™ stirrup leathers with the DryTex saddle, as sharp-edged stirrup leathers can damage the material.
